As an email marketer we often hear about Blacklists. We grow to fear them. Learn how to follow best practices to stay off them and in the end have a reoccurring nightmare that we or our clients might get on them and compromise delivery of email campaigns.
With the prevelance of spam being flooded into our email inbox no matter who you are, we are all taking steps to set up email server protection software that we compare against SORBS, Senderbase, Spamcop, and countless other third party lists to keep the flow of unsolicited email to a minimum.
We are aware of false-positives, blocked senders, trusted senders, bonded senders and the latest Nigerian email scam, all building the fear that somehow we might be paralyzed by spam.
There will not be for some time any system that will be a 100% solution and until that day we will rely and live in fear of these forces both good and bad. It will be something we need to live with for a while, until that solution presents itself.
